At a glance

Rubi holds a Bachelor's and Master’s in English and American Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing, from New York University. There, her short fiction was selected for readings at the historic Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House on more than one occasion, and her graduate thesis earned the express compliments of the program's director.

 

Currently, she is the Associate Creative Director at Veritone One, a leading audio and creator-based performance advertising agency. During her time there, she's written for over 110 brands with cumulative spend in the mid-nine figures, including Amazon Alexa, Molina Healthcare, and HelloFresh, and owned the creative initiative for the agency's first-ever smart speaker skill integration. She has also lent her talents to various ad hoc projects, such as writing an original podcast in collaboration with CBS News, and developed the content strategy and copy for two iterations of the Veritone One website.

 

Rubi is obsessed with words and prides herself on her ability to use them incisively and artfully. She can also write in the third person as necessary.
